William Mensah, een 26-jarige (15.07.1982) Ghanese verdediger (RB-CV), werd vorig seizoen ook al gescout door Lierse, maar toen ging de transfer niet door omdat zijn ploeg hem toen niet wou laten gaan. Mensah is international voor zijn land, en speelde vorig seizoen bij de Egyptische topklasser Harras El Hadoud.

Mensah tekende een contract van 2 seizoenen, + 1 jaar optie.
