Clean the condenser coils

Dirty condenser coils will reduce your unit's cooling capabilities. For homes with pets or large traffic, it is recommended that files be cleaned every two to three months, move the refrigerator away from the wall and unplug. Remove the mesh at the bottom, usually by pulling straight back. You shouldn't get angry. Use a household or shop broom with a long accessory that is thin enough to reach underneath. Vacuum around the coils, monitor your progress with a flashlight. If you press too hard, you risk cutting the coil - an expensive repair that requires a technician.

Freezers and fridges that contain little to no food (especially large liquid containers like milk jugs) do not stay cold and so do those that have more items, which keep and keep cool.

Check damper

Cold air may flow continuously into the cabin, without being checked by a damper stuck in the open position. The damper is located between the cooling and freezing compartments and is controlled by a thermostat.

Replace the thermostat

The refrigerator thermostat can be found easily online. Find your model number on the inside of the door or the back, then order a compatible thermostat.

Unplug the refrigerator first, then open the refrigerator compartment.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the cap on the top of the cooling compartment (inside the box). Usually, there are no more than two screws holding this in place.
Using the same screwdriver, remove the plastic control assembly cover.
Gently lift the lid down as it is wired attached to the refrigerator. The thermostat will be a bronze colored metal device attached to copper wires and a plastic capillary tube.
At this point, you may find it helpful to take a picture of the wiring arrangement so that you can replicate it with your new thermostat. Pull the wires straight out by hand and remove the tube.
Installing the new thermostat is a one-to-one alternative: two black wires that are doubled and connected to one terminal; One orange wire and one green ground wire.
