I was at a Toyota dealer looking at a new RAV4. The car I liked was made in December 2016 and had 10 miles on it. I also noticed some dirt in the tail gate truck area.
I called Toyota customer service and they checked the VIN numbers. They told me the car was sold June 30 2017 and the selling dealer is the same dealer I am at.
I am trying to understand what this all means. I did not buy the car. Thanks

Do you know how to read a ford vin number? I just got my license and want to buy myself a used car. I was advised to do such a check. How do I decode Ford VIN correctly? It is very difficult? It's just that I'm not such a good driver yet who understands all these subtleties.
